The iRise Users community is a sub-community of the Catalyze Community that iRise helped to launch in June 2007. The best part, besides the fact that the Catalyze and iRise Communities are free, is that you will be able to seamlessly access the great content on both the public Catalyze community and iRise-specific community using the same log-in information.
Since this page is a landing page within Catalyze, you can Login or Register above. You can also use the Menu tabs to begin exploring what Catalyze has to offer.
Note that the iRise Users community does not replace iRise Product Support. It supplements and complements the great service we already provide by letting you interact with other users. iRise Product Support will still offer the same high levels of personal touch that is the hallmark of our customer service.
What is the Catalyze Community?
Catalyze is a community for business analysts, usability professionals, product managers and others who define and design software applications and websites. iRise is funding Catalyze and the community is co-sponsored by the International Association of Business Analysis (IIBA) and the Usability Professionals' Association (UPA).
The Catalyze community launched in June 2007 and we currently have more than 2,700 members. There are more than 400 members of the iRise User section including iRise employees, partners and customers.
How do I access the iRise Users Community?
Follow these steps to join Catalyze and the iRise Users community:
- Register for the Catalyze Community - www.mycatalyze.org
- Put "iRise User" in the Promo field in the Registration screen - this will help alert us to upgrade your permissions
- Or Notify the Community Manager, Tom Humbarger, that you want to get access to the iRise Users section (thumbarger@irise.com)
- Visit Catalyze and start participating in the iRise and Catalyze communities
Once you log-in to Catalyze, the iRise Users community is accessible from the left navigation panel on the home page (click on iRise Users link) or from the Roles menu tab.
Note to currently Catalyze members: If you are already a member of Catalyze, send an email to Tom Humbarger (thumbarger@irise.com) requesting that your permissions get upgraded. The permission upgrade usually takes about a day to process.
The Catalyze and iRise User communities leverage the power of "we" - and will benefit all who participate. We look forward to building a vibrant community of iRise Users.
How else can I leverage my Catalyze membership?
Social networking is rapidly becoming an important aspect of the working professional's life. As a way to leverage your involvement in Catalyze, we have set up some additional ways to connect and network with other professionals:
- LinkedIn - we have set up both Catalyze and iRise User groups in LinkedIn; by joining one or both groups, you will be identified with a small logo in your LinkedIn profile:
- Facebook - there is also a Catalyze Facebook group that you can join by using this link
